GeoSwiftSOS ("the App") is a free mobile application developed by Aurel Design ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our App. The App is designed to function offline and does not collect or transmit any personal data to our servers or third parties.

Information We Collect

The App requires access to certain permissions to function properly:

• Location Information: The App accesses your device's location (GPS or network-based) to include it in emergency SMS messages. This data is used locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted elsewhere.
• SMS Permission: The App sends SMS messages to your saved contacts in emergency situations. We do not read, store, or transmit your SMS messages.
• Contacts: The App allows you to save and access emergency contacts from your device's contact list. Contacts are stored locally in the App's database and are not shared or uploaded.
• Sensors: The App uses accelerometer sensors for fall detection. This data is processed locally and not stored or shared.

No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted to us or any third party. All operations are performed offline on your device.

How We Use Your Information

The information accessed by the App is used solely to:

• Detect emergency situations (e.g., falls).
• Send SMS messages with your location to saved contacts.
• Display your location on an offline map within the App.

We do not use the information for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose.

Sharing Your Information

We do not share, sell, or transfer any information from the App to third parties. The only sharing occurs when you send an emergency SMS, which is done directly from your device to your contacts via your mobile carrier.

Data Storage and Security

All data (contacts, settings) is stored locally on your device using SQLite database. No data is stored on our servers. We recommend keeping your device secure with a PIN or biometric lock.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided information, contact us to remove it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here, and the effective date will be updated. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
